TAMPA — Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd each scored 24 points, and Paige Bueckers added 17 points, six rebounds and three assists on Sunday, as UConn left no doubts in the the national title game, dominating South Carolina, 82-59, at Amalie Arena.
The Huskies were dominant from start to finish in winning the 12 NCAA championship under coach Geno Auriemma, finishing the season at 37-3. The Gamecocks closed at 35-4.
